Data in transit security
Communication between end-users and the Ease Live Platform is secured via TLS, often referred to as HTTPS. The graphical components displayed on end-user devices are transferred using the same secure mechanism, ensuring that no-one is able to intercept, read or modify the communication between your end-users and the Ease Live Platform.
The services used by producers during broadcasting are protected with the same technology, ensuring that no-one modifies the data that is transferred between any user of the Ease Live Platform, Cockpit or similar.
Data durability
Data in our databases are written to multiple back-ends to ensure data is securely stored. The Ease Live Platform will only acknowledge a write or a modification to the system when the change is successfully written to at least two locations.
Data is frequently backed up and copied to multiple locations.
Data availability / redundancy
The Ease Live Platform is architected for redundancy, and automatic recovery in the event of a failure. Multiple functions are in place to ensure that failure in one or multiple components within the platform doesn't degrade the availability and stability of the platform.
Continuous maintenance of infrastructure
The different components used by Ease Live are actively maintained and looked after, to ensure are proactive in detecting and fix security issues, bugs or other enhancements to our software stack, to ensure our customer are secured and on a stable platform.
Authentication
Most API end-points are located behind a authentication wall using JWT, an industry standard for identifying users and access securely between the client and server.
